About JTV: J TV will be a multilingual international television channel based in the city of CHENNAI , capital of the state of Tamil Nadu, South India, but crossing the borders of the nations, breaking the barriers of language, religion, colour, race, tradition and culture .The advantage of J TV is that it is going to be aired both through cable and antenna, in India, in order to reach the different kinds of Television viewers. India is a very big country, and it is the 2nd most populated country in the world. In the total 240 million households in India about 83 million households in India are cable connected, while 22 million are DTH or Antenna customers, & is rapidly increasing. So there is a lot of untapped potential for both cable and DTH, which is exclusively offered by J TV. India is a diverse country with 25 States, and 7 Union Territories, each having its own language, food, culture, clothing, tradition, occupation, etc. Of course India is very unique in its diversity. Though the national language of India is Hindi, yet Hindi is not spoken or understood in all the states of India. Therefore English is our official language of communication used across the nation. J TV is going to reach every nook and corner of India, and unite everyone with the gospel of Jesus Christ, transcending all barriers and having more than 27.3 million viewers in India alone. J TV is being launched at a ripe time when people are starving for a good Christian English channel in India. At present the existing gospel channels are only in the regional languages.
